Feedback and Feature Request
Dear Samsung Mobile Team,
As a long-time user and supporter of the Galaxy Ultra series, I would like to share my feedback and suggestions as a content creator who relies heavily on your devices for both photography and productivity.
I have owned the Galaxy S23 Ultra and currently use the Galaxy S24 Ultra. From my experience:
?? What the S23 Ultra Did Right:
The 10x optical periscope lens delivered clean, sharp zoomed images that were ideal for professional work.
The 200MP main sensor allowed for flexibility in cropping and post-processing.
The Bluetooth-enabled S Pen was an essential tool for remote photography, especially in long exposure and slow shutter scenarios.
? Feedback on the S24 and S25 Ultra:
The removal of the 10x optical zoom in favor of a 5x cropped solution reduced image fidelity at long range.
The anti-reflective screen coating, while improving clarity under direct light, negatively impacted perceived color vibrancy and saturation.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra’s removal of Bluetooth from the S Pen greatly hinders remote control use cases, which are vital for tripod-based long exposure photography.
?? What We Hope to See in the Galaxy S26 Ultra:
Reinstatement of the Bluetooth S Pen, especially for users who rely on remote shutter functionality.
Return of a dedicated 10x optical zoom lens with a larger sensor for improved telephoto performance.
Optional display tuning that lets users disable or adjust anti-reflective coatings’ impact on color profile.
Inclusion of a variable aperture main lens, giving photographers more manual control over exposure and depth of field.
As someone who uses Galaxy devices for creative professional work, I greatly appreciate Samsung’s engineering and innovation. I hope the S26 Ultra will honor the best of the Note legacy and take a bold step forward in empowering creators.
Sincerely,
A Loyal Galaxy Ultra User
